The original and creativity of paper: The purpose of this study is to review the adsorption between particle and protein at the various interfaces.
Summary:
- The kinetic of particle and protein adsorption can be quantitatively analyzed when we know jamming coverage and the blocking functions. The analysis can be done by using the various phenomenological approach based on the continuity (mass-balance) equations.
- The mentioned phenomenological explanations include the formulation of the constitutive equation which describes the flux of the particles at the edge of the adsorption layer. The equation is as follows;

- The kinetic adsorption and desorption which appeared in the equation (1) can be revealed as the physical parameters characterizing, for example particle diffusion coefficient and the specific energy distribution.
- The equation has the limitations. This equation is nonlinear that coupled with the bulk transport. So it needs to solve with specific solutions. Also, when the concentration of the particle remains in a local equilibrium with the surface coverage; the relaxation time of the bulk transport is much longer than the characteristic time of the surface coverage variation. Therefore, the constitutive expression for the adsorption flux becomes;

Application: This study provided the meaningful literature about adsorption kinetic which is very useful for understanding the mechanism of fouling adsorption.
