2. Summary

Membrane processes applied high pressure in wastewater, seawater and brackish water etc. occur fouling by matters(scale). Scale formation disturb constant water production so we have to know the variety of scale. This paper reivew the sacle forming mechnisms, Factors affecting scale formation, types of scale, prediction of scaling tendency,  scale control techniques, altering feed water charateristics, optimization of operating parameter and system disigh, Antiscalant addition and non destructive scale monitoring techniques.  Alice Antonya refers to control of scale formation, especially, this paper considerd about antiscalant because the sacle formation can't remove that all.

3. Application to research

To study the type of scale and scale formation, this paper apply to future study of antiscalants
