2. Summary
This paper is written to analyze the impact of structural BMPs on the watershed. The model area is black creek watershed in Indiana state and two points are selected for the modeling sites. Structural BMPs consist of BMPs in good condition, varying conditions, and no BMPs condition. They are estimated by adjusting the input parameters.
Watershed model is progressed in this order; Model conduction, uncertainty analysis, calibration, validation, and model run. In the results of analyzing the BMPs effects, BMPs in good condition have the best efficacy and no BMPs have the worst efficacy. For future research, it is needed to create other factors to indicate the state of the BMPs and to make the assessment method to compute the outputs according to the different watershed conditions.
3. Originality and Creativity
- It is an attempt to assess the effects of BMPs in various conditions.
4. Application to research
- Except for the inner assessment, I think there are some methods to assess the effects of the BMPs in various conditions.
