2. Summary
This paper is written to find out the way to increase the accuracy of the EFDC model when predicting the concentration of the algae. So, three scenarios are introduced. 1) Same algae growth rate regardless of genera and site. 2) Different algae growth in terms of genera. 3) Different algae growth in terms of genera and site. Chlorophyll-a was introduced as a target material.
The third shows the highest accuracy among the scenarios. As a result, to achieve the highest accuracy of the EFDC model, the respective algal growth rate should be introduced, and other algal genera are also needed to be considered except the three genera. Finally, it is important to consider the factors not treated in the model.
