2.Summary
The efficiency of RO-PRO hybrid processes has significant differences by the RO and PRO configurations. However, the efficiency concept in RO-PRO is ambiguous. It can be changed by the which factor we concern. Quality of fresh water, flux of fresh water or energy generation of PRO process are important and cannot be ordered elements. In this study, WERR, concentration of fresh water and brine water and energy generation are calculated by each scenario.
3. Application to research
To make better RO-PRO hybrid scenario or configuration, these four scenarios, which are analyzed in this paper should be concerned. And the flow chart of the RO-PRO hybrid modeling procedure can be proper reference to make better modeling.
